Rail Safety

NEW!!  Our partners at GO Transit will be providing an important teaching for children about Rail Safety starting this winter at the Kids' Safety Village. This program can be geared to students of grades 1 through 6, by making the learning age-appropriate.   Students will learn about how and where to properly and LEGALLY cross Rail Road Tracks, and the messaging provided by signal arms, crossing gates, warning lights and bells.

This program runs from January until the end of June. The classes are offered on Thursdays.

From January to March, when getting outside is difficult, the classes are approximately 60 minutes in length, to coincide with the grade 1, 5 and 6 programs, and normally run three times a day (twice in the morning and once in the afternoon).

From April to June an outside component is added, and classes are 90 minutes in length, to coincide with the grade 2, 3 and 4 programs, and normally run twice a day (once in the morning and once in the afternoon).

**PLEASE NOTE - YOU CAN ONLY BOOK ONE CLASS PER SESSION - ADD ONE BOOKING TO YOUR CART, COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, AND RETURN TO THE CALENDAR TO BOOK ANOTHER SESSION** If you are booking several classes please include the actual teachers' names and class information for those classes in the comments section for each booking.
